Waylon Woolcock

Waylon excels at stage races and long one-day races as can be seen by his career highlights, which include the 2007 Tour of Egypt and Jock Cycle Classique. At 26, he’s reaching the age of maturity for a stage racer and so his best is yet to come.

The dearth of local stage races counts against him, but expect to see him at his best at the Giro del Capo, SA Road Champs in March and the Jock Cycle Classique in July. He is an extremely reliable domestique too and will play a key support role for the team’s sprinters in the large number of shorter races the team competes in.
